SENIOR CRIMESTOPPERS

SENIOR CRIMESTOPPERS

Senior Crimestoppers works to help prevent crimes against the senior community. Participating facilities receive a lock box for each of their residents to safe-guard personal items. When an item is thought to be stolen from a resident, that crime can then be reported to the Senior Crimestoppers program and they will take the proper steps to work to recover the stolen property. Individuals can submit information about a crime anonymously utilizing the Crimestoppers Hotline and many times rewards are presented for the discovery of the stolen good(s).

In 2012 Woodforest National Bank became a sponsor of the program for ERCC and provided the $6 million loan required to back program participation. Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center participates in the program in order to provide our residents with an added level of security.
