ERCC GROUP ACTIVITIES
Arts & crafts, exercise routines, bingo and exciting outings are just a few of the ways ERCC keeps life exciting for our short- and long-term guests. We host church services conducted by local clergy and students from the local Mountain School come by regularly to play board games and visit with residents. Every other week we even host “dinner and a movie” with residents pairing special food and films for our residents to experience together.
Not all of our activities happen inside our facility. Trips to the local retail stores and restaurants occur frequently and our residents are regulars at the Randolph Community Arts Center Brown Bag luncheons and concerts. Depending on the season, our specialized van might even make a trip out to see Christmas lights, take our residents on a peaceful lake trip or even go on a cruise through the mountains to see the fall colors. Our residents enjoy riding the Cass Railroad Train as well as taking Durbin & Greenbrier excursions.
Our calendars below are developed monthly to help our resident families see what is going on around the facility and make plans to join us. Activities are based on holidays, special awareness, celebrations and whatever is popular among our residents.

MONTHLY ACTIVITY CALENDAR
MONTHLY REFLECTIONS AT ERCC CALENDAR
In addition to the main facility activities, our Activities Department develops a special activity calendar for those residents in our Reflections at ERCC unit who are living with degenerative memory diseases. Keeping active is one of the best ways to combat memory loss. In these activities, residents touch, taste, smell and hear a variety of elements to help stimulate memories through “Sensory Stimulation.”
